NASA and JPL have just released a huge photo composite of the area surrounding the Curiosity Rover on the planet Mars. These are some of the best hi resolution photos ever taken of another planetary body in our solar system! Rock on humanity!
Images like these get my imagination racing. I just love mars landscapes and geology.

This is so cool, these pictures look just like a wild tourist appeared and took a few snapshots (and i guess in a way, Curiosity is a kind of tourist). More to the point, it looks like you could actually come here and stand in this very spot. It looks accessible, if a little dusty. Long live high-resolution photographs.
